Electrostatic spraying has been a process that has been around since the 1940’s when it was used in the paint spraying applications. This process is a relatively simple process where there is a charge placed on a liquid that will allow it to be attracted to the opposite charge. The positive charge placed on that liquid would be attracted to the negative or neutral charge of the surfaces that it is being sprayed towards. While the process behind the electrostatic spraying is relatively simple, the science behind it has very large benefits when using this in conjunction with other liquids and chemicals. As technology has advanced, this process was expanded to be able to be used in efficient disinfectant application.
